TODD KIMBALL
My Story
Hello, my name is Todd Kimball, but everyone calls me TJ. I'm currently earning my Masters in International Education Management and working as a Teacher Assistant at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Before this program I taught overseas, worked with the developmentally disabled, managed organic farms, and so much more. Now I'm pursuing my dream of helping grow the International Education Sphere so it's accessible for all.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My Journey
Following my graduation from High School, I attended Grand Valley State University where I earned my Bachelor's in Philosophy. There I studied abroad 3 times, starting with a 3 month program to China and ending by working as an Intern in Kerala, India. Following this, I worked as a teacher in Thailand and Taiwan, coordinated trips to local NGO's in Nepal for American students, and even back-packed across India for 3 months. Following these incredible experiences, I returned home to care for my parents, who unfortunately both passed in 2017 and 2018. Now that I've moved passed that phase of life, I'm excited to building again towards the world of International Education I love.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT, MIDDLEBURY INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
This job entails working with a professor to help implement the hybrid section of his course, Economics and Development. In this role I help to organize group conversations, field online student questions, manage technological resources for broadcasting and recording class, and more.
